The interactive experience that drives more revenue

Your restaurant’s digital menu, designed for the dining table.

Get started

A menu of words is where you lose the plate.

A guest orders the plate they can picture. On a menu of words, the dish you make the most on is the one they skip, the tourist picks what they recognise, and the page can't catch a change the kitchen made this afternoon.

A dish photographed for the menu

The plate they cannot picture stays on the pass.

The dish you make the most on has the least familiar name. A guest reading a description picks what they recognise — not what they would have chosen if they had seen it. Same kitchen, wrong pick, thinner ticket.

Sauce being finished over the plate

Words describe. A picture decides.

Ingredients, allergies, a change to the special — every one of them turns into a conversation with the waiter that a photograph would have ended before it began. And when the printer runs the menu, a Tuesday change is Friday’s problem.

What replaces the words

QR code

One QR code on the table. The whole menu behind it.

The QR opens straight in the camera into a menu that carries your name and your rules — no app, no account, no sign‑in. A guest is reading in three seconds.

Immersive View

The plate, as it actually arrives.

Drag around the dish photographed on a table in your own room — real portion, real plating. The question a guest would have asked the waiter is answered before they ask it, and no other digital menu does this.

Search and favourites

Guests arrive at the table already decided.

Categories with a live count on every tab, ingredient search, dietary filters that answer allergies without a conversation with the waiter, and a star to save what a guest wants to remember.

More money from every table.

People buy with their eyes. Show the food and guests order more than they came for — the expensive plate because it was seen, the dessert because it caught the eye. Same kitchen, bigger check.

A dish whose name gives nothing away

Won before the guest walks in.

On Google Maps, on Instagram, on any screen where someone is choosing where to eat — a live menu with real photographs decides for you. A tourist from any country sees the plate itself, not a name they cannot read. They see it, they want it, they choose you.

A dish photographed for the menu

The guest knew what was coming.

The plate on the menu is the plate that arrives. No guessing from a description, no waiter’s word to trust — no surprise, no disappointment, no bad review. Only guests who come back and bring others.

Questions we get asked.

Anything not here, write to us — you will have an answer the same working day.

Do guests need to download anything?

No. The camera already on the phone opens it and the menu loads in the browser. Nothing to install, no account, no sign‑in, and nothing for your team to hand out or explain at the table.

What is Immersive View?

A photograph a guest can drag through, taken on a real table in your own dining room. Real portion, real plating. It answers the question guests ask before the expensive dish: how much food is that, really?

How much of our time does the shoot take?

One day, in the gap between lunch and dinner, so no service is interrupted and nobody comes in early. Your kitchen is already hot and already staffed, and the room is empty while the light is still good. A longer card takes two.

Do we have to cook extra food for it?

One round of plates, fired to our sequence and plated exactly as they go out to a guest — same portion, same crockery, no props that never reach a table. They go to your team afterwards, not the bin.

Can we use the photographs ourselves?

Yes. They are licensed to you for your own website, your Google profile and your own channels, not only inside Platto. Anyone from your team who appears in shot signs one consent page, which we bring with us.

What happens when prices or dishes change?

Tell us and it is live the same working day, on every table at once — no reprint, no sticker over the old price. A brand new dish needs a photograph, so that one goes on at the next shoot.

Can guests filter for a diet or an allergy?

Every dish carries its own tags — vegetarian, vegan, spicy, signature — and guests can search the menu by ingredient. “No shellfish” becomes one word typed in, rather than a conversation with the waiter.

We already have a free QR menu from our till. Why change?

Because it is your printed menu with a code in front of it: the same names and prices, harder to read. It does not show the food, so it does nothing for the dishes guests cannot picture — usually the ones you make the most on.

What if we do not like the photographs?

You see every plate before anything goes live, and anything you are not happy with we shoot again at no extra cost. Nothing reaches a table in your restaurant that you have not approved first.

Does it have to connect to our POS?

No. Platto sits alongside whatever you run — nothing to integrate, nothing that can fail mid‑service. Guests read the menu and order from your team exactly as they do today.

What does it cost?

One setup fee for the shoot, the photography and the build, then a flat monthly fee covering your domain, hosting, support and every change. Tell us how many dishes you carry and a written price comes back the same day.

Two lines, and a price comes back today.

How many dishes, how many tables. That is all we need for a written price the same working day — no call to book, no demo to sit through, and nothing to sign to find out what it costs.

Or write to hello@getplatto.com. Rather look first? Open a live menu — no form.
